Concrete Paver Sealing
Concrete Pavers are one of the most attractive and distinctive materials for hardscaping and landscape design. They are used for walkways, patios, pool decks, and driveways. Pavers will provide a long service life in any landscaping design, pool deck, or outdoor area. Since pavers are made from colored concrete, they degrade over time with similar effects as mentioned above. Concrete pavers also have a pigment added to them which will fade with exposure to the elements – this color loss is irreversible.
To help the pavers retain their original color and be protected from the elements, you need to seal them. Premier Stone Protection utilizes Premier Protection sealant, which is a deep, penetrating sealer. The sealant forms an invisible barrier that molecularly combines with the substrate while strengthening and consolidating the surface. The barrier is resistant to moisture, salt, algae, most liquids, and stains. Sealing the pavers helps retard efflorescence, that chalky white coating that sometimes appears on concrete, particularly colored concrete.
Premier Stone Protection will apply the sealant in either a natural or glossy look. The glossy look sealer will intensify or enhance the color of the pavers and give a slight sheen to them without making them slippery. Protect your investment and keep concrete pavers looking pristine by sealing them.
